This flexible platform uses object-oriented SO technology and plug-and-play architecture to allow Mobile Banking solutions and services over innovative platform.

Total-e™ Architecture Concept

The Total-e™ MFS platform utilizes state of the art technologies and superior design to streamline how a mobile finance service provider settles with its customers, revenue share partners, banks and other entities, enabling the administration and charging of Any Service Any Time™, and manage its operations effectively in a competitive business environment.
Total-e™ core strengths emerge from its unique architectural concepts of business rules based design and implementation. This allows any service provider and network operator to implement new services and business rules in a fast and streamlined manner. In any time after the project completion, the system can be easily expanded and requirements and services can be defined and added according to the need, based on the available business plugs and services library.

Total-e™ architecture is a modular structure allowing integration amongst implemented modules, as well as the addition of new modules. The infrastructure consists of a robust and flexible platform, utilizing a plug and play concept. Through the use of a "pictorial matrix" (shown below), different services can be added by means of "service plugs" which allow for an unlimited expansion of features, services, and connections (via APIs) to other (external) applications

Total-e™ offers any Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or Financial Services Provider (FSP) the opportunity to seamlessly extend and adapt their operations to support any type of mobile based financial service in any market. This is achieved easily, quickly and cost effectively, regardless of their location and localization requirements.
Using the Total-e™ full end to end unified platform, MNOs or FSPs are able to extend their existing platform to support multiple Mobile Financial Services offerings and service providers from a single multi-tenant hosted location. Combined with our Mobile Banking Solutions this offering is a leader in its class. They can provide their Payment Service Providers (PSP) with the ability to rollout new offerings and operations and adjust rates and charges in real-time. User friendly web based customer care and self-care GUIs enable the individual PSP to individualize their brands, languages, currencies and customer logic. This enables each PSP to maintain its own separate identity despite using the same platform as the competition.

Total-e™ MFS SIM based solution (STK)

In addition to variety of access methods, the Total-e™ MFS solution support also SIM based payment services to cover wide range of mobile devices in parallel to the security enhancement.

Payment

The payment menu pops up based on "call control" events; the trigger for this menu popup is a short code dialed (e.g. #99) through the native dialer of the phone. Upon dialing the applet will launch a popup menu; the subscriber can select one of the following items from the menu:

• P2P flow
• Balance query
• PIN maintenance
• About

A short code is allocated for each type of transaction (e.g. P2P flow and balance query), the menu is also accessible via the mobile STK menu.

Communication bearers

• Binary SMS sent to/from the SIM card
• USSD - poll based
• GPRS (Requires supported cards and handsets)

Protocol

• Remote kill - remote deactivation of the applet based on binary SMS
• Remote wipe/reset of the PIN
• Send transaction - based on USSD bearer, fallback to SMS will be made if USSD is not available. Local information is sent to the server for each transaction (LAC, CI, MNC, MCC, IMSI, IMEI)

Security

• Proprietary protocol
• Bearer encryption utilizing 3DES ECB cipher.
• Applet downloaded to the card only with OTA Keys.
